If you’re on this page, you’ve identified yourself as a healthcare professional interested in smell disorders. Our goal with this project is to increase awareness of smell problems and give sensible advice and information about the causes and treatment of olfactory disorders. We are primarily patient-focused but also look to support and educate health care professionals, especially to close the gap between patient expectations and what we as HCPs can offer.

Evidence-based information and support is at the heart of everything we do here at AbScent. As well as sharing research and information, we support research into olfactory disorders and treatments in the UK and around the world.
We know that the patient experience can bring valuable insight to research and we actively encourage our community to get inolved with research projects. Whether it's a short survey shared on our busy membership groups, or recruiting research subjects to particular criteria, we have people keen to be involved.
If you are designing or running research and would like some input from those people who know the condition best, please contact us.
